It’s work is built on years of hands-on experience, specialist training, and a deep knowledge of the materials and construction methods used by the world\'s leading luxury houses. The company is now seeking to recruit a Business Manager.

Reporting to the Managing Director, you will be responsible for ensuring that the company can function efficiently to make sales, provide high-quality customer service and increase profits. You have a range of leadership and administrative duties to fulfil for the business to meet the company’s goals. In addition, you will supervise and develop operational and business procedures within a company. Your duties include delegating administrative tasks, setting operational budgets and interviewing candidates for jobs.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Developing business plans aimed at long-term business sustainability
• Sourcing new business opportunities by targeting new markets or new demographics
• Improving the quality of customer service and customer satisfaction
• Negotiating new contracts with suppliers or customers on behalf of the company
• Preparing detailed budgets that improve the cost-efficiency of the business
• Short-listing, interviewing and selecting candidates for vacant job positions within the company
• Keeping up to date with industry trends, economic policies and changing markets
• Being held accountable for the successes and failures of the business
• Working with other company managers to create a long-term company strategy

Qualifications and Skills

We require excellent business acumen, alongside a detailed knowledge of the industry. We also require essential leadership and management skills, as well as the ability to communicate effectively. Other prerequisite skills and qualifications will include:

• A minimum of five years of experience working in business operations or administration with at least three years working in a team leader or management role to demonstrate desired leadership talent.
• Delegation skills to assign tasks to the correct departments or team members within the business
• Excellent knowledge of the company’s operational policies and procedures
• Ability to develop the skill sets of teams across multiple departments
• Excellent knowledge of laws and regulations regarding employment and contracts
• Negotiation skills to get the best deals for the company
• Ability to motivate staff to hit and exceed their goals and targets
• Ability to confidently hold meetings with high-profile clients, board members and senior management
