    Business Development Officer (Construction Chemicals & Engineering Solutions)

    Job Summary

    • The Business Development Officer will support revenue growth by identifying opportunities, managing client relationships, and assisting in the execution of sales strategies within the construction and infrastructure sector.
    • This role is strictly for candidates with relevant experience in construction chemicals, paints/coatings, or building materials industries.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Identify and develop business opportunities in construction and real estate sectors.
    • Support execution of sales and market expansion strategies. 
    • Build relationships with contractors, consultants, and project stakeholders. 
    • Promote Axion’s construction chemicals and coating solutions. 
    • Assist in preparing proposals, tenders, and client presentations. 
    • Track leads and support deal closure activities. 
    • Conduct market research and competitor analysis. 
    • Support achievement of sales targets. 
    • Collaborate with internal teams for service delivery. 

    Requirements (Strict – Non-Negotiable)

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Marketing, or related field. 
    • 2–4 years of experience in construction chemicals, paints / coatings, or building materials industry (mandatory). 
    • Strong network within Nigeria’s construction sector is an advantage. 
    • Strong communication and negotiation skills. 
    • Ability to understand and present technical products. 
    • Highly motivated and target-driven.
