    Business Development Officer

    Job Description

    • Analyzing financial data and developing effective strategies to reduce business costs and increase company profits.
    • Meeting with potential investors to present company offerings and negotiate business deals.
    • Closing new business deals by coordinating requirements; developing and negotiating contracts; integrating contract requirements with business operations.
    • Preparing sales contracts that ensure adherence to law-established rules and guidelines.
    • Aligning sales fundamentals, such as Distribution, Display, Promotion, and Price with company strategies to come up with well-defined enhancement plans.
    • Developing and sustaining solid relationships with company stakeholders and new customers.
    • Providing trustworthy feedback and after-sales support.
    • Analyzing customer feedback data to determine whether customers are satisfied with company products and services.
    • Developing negotiating strategies by studying integration of new venture with company strategies and operations; examining risks and potentials; estimating partners' needs and goals.
    • Owning responsibility for the development, execution, competitive positioning, and monitoring of programs created to increase company profits.
    • Reviewing and updating Monthly Marketing Budget Plan exhibiting Business Development efficient expense management and spending.
    • Recruiting, training, and guiding business development staff.
    • Collaborating with company executives to determine the most viable, cost-effective approach to pursue new business opportunities.
    • Presenting top-level management on business trends to develop new services, products, and distribution channels.
    • Protecting the company's value by keeping information confidential.

    Minimum Qualification & Experience

    • A Degree in Business Development, Business Management, Economics, or International Relations.
    • Minimum of 2 years experience working as a Business Development Officer or similar role.
    • A degree in HR is an added advantage.
    • Should have at least 1 year of HR experience.
    • At least 1 year of marketing experience and must be considering a career in management consulting.
    • Experience in customer support is a plus.
    • Proven sales track record.
    • Must be staying on the Island specifically around Chevron.

    Skills & Requirements:

    • Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications and CRM software (e.g., Salesforce).
    • The ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
    • Capability of prioritizing and delegating responsibilities.
    • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and management skills.
    • Exceptional negotiation and decision-making skills.
    • Effective communication skills.
    • Strong business acumen.
    • Detail-oriented.

    Salary
    The proposed pay is N120,000, which is divided into basic and target-met payments.
