    Business Development Manager

    Mission

    • The Business Development Manager at Wildreams is responsible for helping organizations develop and implement strategies to grow the agency’s revenue by acquiring new clients and expanding existing accounts.
    • Also to help Wildreams grow its business and build strong relationships with clients, positioning the agency for long-term success in the competitive advertising industry.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Identifying potential clients: You would research and identify potential clients, and develop strategies for reaching out to them.
    • Building relationships: cultivate relationships with potential clients, as well as maintain and strengthen existing relationships with current clients.
    • Pitching: develop and deliver compelling pitches to potential clients, showcasing the agency’s capabilities and demonstrating how the agency can meet their needs.
    • Negotiating: Negotiating contracts with clients, including pricing, the scope of work, and other terms.
    • Monitoring the market: You would stay abreast of industry trends, changes in the competitive landscape, and other factors that could impact the agency’s business.
    • Collaborating with other teams: work closely with other teams within the agency, such as the creative, account management, and operations teams, to ensure that client needs are being met.
    • Reporting: regularly report on sales activities, revenue forecasts, and other key metrics to senior management.
    • Communicate effectively with all team members and develop strong, trusting relationships with all internal partners.
    • Lead market research, market analysis and competitive analysis in order to identify threats, and opportunities and develop a marketing plan accordingly.
    • Develop strategies to expand the customer base and contribute to the development of the company’s brand.
    • Proactively and fully capitalise on all opportunities to ensure excellent execution of marketing/communications/content management/ public relations/ client engagement/ employee engagement strategies and plans supporting business and brand objectives.
    • Using knowledge of the market and competitors, identifying and developing the firm’s unique selling propositions.
    • Assist in resolving clients’ issues/problems by listening to complaints and proffering solutions effective for a satisfactory resolution
    • Supervise company employees to ensure they comply with set client service standards in carrying out job duties.
    • Encouraging the development of the team’s ethos, promoting new workflow ideas, and techniques – and making sure morale is high.
    • Mentoring the team, and providing support and feedback.

    • Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills are preferred.

    Qualification

    • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Social Sciences or related field.
    • 5 years of hands-on experience in business development
    • A professional qualification in digital marketing is a plus
