Business Development Manager at Starcare International Hospital

About the Job:

• We are seeking a proactive, innovative, and experienced Business Development / Marketing Manager to lead the growth of Starcare International Hospital’s patient outreach, brand visibility, corporate partnerships, and overall business performance. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with strong leadership capabilities, a deep understanding of healthcare marketing, and a proven track record in executing successful campaigns and business expansion initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

Business Development:

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities, corporate tie-ups, and institutional partnerships.
• Develop strategies to increase patient footfall and revenue growth across service verticals.
• Liaise with insurance companies, HMOs, and referral doctors to strengthen the referral network.
• Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities.

Marketing & Brand Strategy:

• Plan and implement strategic marketing campaigns to promote hospital services and specialties.
• Oversee digital marketing, social media, PR, and content development to ensure strong online and offline brand presence.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to organize health camps, community outreach, and promotional events.
• Monitor performance metrics of campaigns and generate insights to optimize marketing ROI.

Team & Budget Management:

• Lead and guide the marketing and BD team to deliver consistent performance.
• Manage departmental budgets and ensure effective allocation of resources.

Skills & Experience Required:

Essential:

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Healthcare Management or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of proven experience in healthcare marketing and business development.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Deep understanding of healthcare consumer behavior and referral marketing.
• Hands-on experience with digital marketing tools and analytics.

Desirable:

• MBA or Postgraduate qualification in Marketing / Hospital Management.
• Experience working in multi-specialty hospitals or healthcare chains.
• Knowledge of CRM systems and healthcare technology tools.
• Existing network of HMO/insurance partners and corporate contacts in Lagos.
