    Business Development Manager: Solar - Power China

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Identify, pursue, and convert business opportunities in the solar energy sector across B2B and B2C markets.
    • Develop and implement growth strategies aligned with company goals and market trends.
    • Build and maintain relationships with corporate clients, developers, NGOs, and government stakeholders.
    • Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations, proposals, and technical briefs to prospective clients.
    • Conduct market research to identify customer needs, emerging trends, and the competitive landscape.
    • Lead contract negotiations and close deals that meet revenue and profitability targets.
    • Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to ensure project feasibility and timely delivery.
    • Represent the company at industry events, exhibitions, and stakeholder meetings.
    • Monitor sales pipeline, forecast revenue, and provide regular performance reports to management.
    • Provide insights to improve product offerings and customer experience based on feedback and market intelligence.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field. A Master’s degree is an added advantage.
    • 4–5 years of experience in business development or sales, preferably within the solar or broader renewable energy industry.
    • Strong commercial acumen with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
    • Excellent networking, communication, and negotiation skills.
    • Knowledge of solar technologies, energy financing models, and regulatory frameworks is a plus.
    • Proficiency in CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
    • Self-motivated, strategic thinker with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
