    Business Development Manager

    • The Business Development Manager at SIAO Partners will play a pivotal role in driving the firm's growth by identifying new business opportunities, building strategic relationships, and enhancing client satisfaction. This position requires a dynamic individual with a deep understanding of the professional services industry, excellent interpersonal skills, and a proven track record in business development.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Strategic Planning & Market Analysis:

    • Develop and implement business development strategies aligned with SIAO Partners' growth objectives.
    • Conduct thorough market analysis to identify emerging trends, client needs, and competitive positioning.

    Client Acquisition & Relationship Management:

    • Identify, pursue, and convert new business opportunities with prospective clients.
    • Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients, ensuring exceptional service delivery and client satisfaction.

    Collaboration & Cross-Functional Coordination:

    • Work closely with internal teams, including Audit, Tax, Advisory, and HR Consulting, to develop tailored solutions for clients.
    • Collaborate with marketing to create compelling proposals, presentations, and promotional materials.

    Networking & Brand Promotion:

    • Represent SIAO Partners at industry events, conferences, and networking functions to enhance brand visibility.
    • Leverage professional networks to generate new leads and business opportunities.

    Sales Performance & Reporting:

    • Set and achieve sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs).
    • Prepare and present regular reports on business development activities, sales performance, and market feedback to senior management.

    Contract Negotiation & Deal Closing:

    • Lead contract negotiations with clients, ensuring mutually beneficial terms.
    • Close deals effectively, ensuring alignment with the firm's financial and strategic goals.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. An MBA or equivalent professional qualification is a plus.
    • Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development within the professional services sector, preferably in accounting, consulting, or advisory services.
    • Strong understanding of the Nigerian business environment and regulatory landscape.

    Skills:

    • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
    • Proficiency in CRM systems and MS Office Suite.
    • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
    • Self-motivated, results-driven, and adaptable to a fast-paced environment.

    Work Environment:

    • The role may require occasional travel to meet clients, attend industry events, and participate in business development activities across different regions.
