    Business Development Manager (Marine Sector)

    Job Summary

    • The Business Development Manager (Marine Sector) is responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building strategic partnerships, expanding market presence, and driving revenue growth within the marine and offshore industry.
    • The role requires a results-driven professional with strong industry knowledge, excellent client engagement skills, and the ability to develop competitive business strategies.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Develop and implement business development strategies to expand the company’s footprint in the marine/offshore sector.
    • Identify new markets, emerging trends, and revenue opportunities.
    • Prepare market intelligence reports and competitor analysis to guide strategic decisions
    • Identify, engage, and onboard new clients within the marine, offshore, shipping, and maritime logistics sectors.
    • Maintain strong working relationships with existing clients, ensuring high satisfaction and retention
    • Conduct regular client meetings, presentations, and negotiations to secure contracts and partnership.
    • Drive sales targets and ensure consistent achievement of revenue goals.
    • Develop proposals, quotations, and tender submissions for marine projects and services.
    • Collaborate with internal teams (operations, technical, finance) to deliver customized solutions to clients.
    • Represent the company at conferences, exhibitions, and marine industry events.
    • Build networks with industry stakeholders, vessel operators, shipyards, marine contractors, and regulatory bodies
    • Support contract execution and ensure smooth handover to operations teams.
    • Provide insights to improve service offerings and enhance competitive advantage.
    • Track and report business development activities, pipelines, and conversion metrics.

    Qualifications & Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Marine Engineering, Maritime Studies, or related field.
    • Minimum of 5 years relevant experience in business development within the marine, offshore, maritime logistics, or shipping industry.
    • Strong knowledge of marine operations, offshore services, vessel management, or maritime regulatory frameworks.
    • Excellent networking, negotiation, and communication skills.
    • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and developing high-value partnerships.
    • Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple opportunities, and meet deadlines.
    • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and CRM tools.
    • Must be between 25–45 years old.
