Business Development Manager, International Operations at CourierPlus

Job Summary

• We are looking for a highly motivated and commercially minded candidate to take on the role of Business Development Manager – International Operations. This role will be responsible for driving growth in our cross-border business, developing strategic partnerships, and expanding our global logistics footprint.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify, develop, and convert new business opportunities in international markets.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with overseas partners, freight forwarders, and global clients.
• Develop and execute strategies to expand international logistics services and market share.
• Collaborate with operations and compliance teams to ensure seamless service delivery and regulatory compliance.
• Monitor global market trends, competitors, and emerging opportunities.
• Prepare and present business proposals, bids, and performance reports to management.

Requirements & Competencies

• Minimum of 4–5 years’ experience in business development, with at least 2 years in international logistics or freight forwarding.
• Strong understanding of global trade processes, customs regulations, and cross-border logistics operations.
• Proven track record of achieving sales and revenue targets.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Logistics, or related field (Master’s or professional certification is an advantage).
• Strong networking skills and ability to build strategic business relationships.
