This is a full-time on-site role for a Business Development Manager at Evans Industries Limited in Lagos.
The Business Development Manager will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining client relationships, developing and implementing growth strategies, and conducting market research.
Responsibilities
The Business Development manager is responsible for the achievement and delivery of overall sales and distribution objectives for the company within the assigned territory.
Contacting potential clients to establish rapport and arrange meetings.
Planning and overseeing new marketing initiatives.
Researching organisations and individuals to find new opportunities.
Increasing the value of current customers while attracting new ones.
Finding and developing new markets and improving sales.
Attending conferences, meetings, and industry events.
Developing quotes and proposals for clients.
Developing goals for the development team and business growth and ensuring they are met.
Training personnel and helping team members develop their skills.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field
Business Development, Sales, and Marketing skills
At least 3 years experience in Sales and Distribution Management
Experience in identifying new business opportunities and client relationship management
Ability to develop and implement growth strategies
Market research and analysis skills
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Strong organizational and time management skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
