    Business Development Manager

    Reports to: Managing Director
    Employment Type: Full-Time

    Job Purpose

    The Business Development Manager will be responsible for driving growth by developing strategic partnerships, acquiring clients, and expanding the business presence across the oil & gas and industrial sectors through strong strategic, communication, and networking capabilities.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in target sectors (oil & gas, energy, construction, manufacturing)
    • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, decision-makers, and procurement departments.
    • Conduct market and competitor analysis to inform sales strategy.
    • Monitor industry trends and identify emerging opportunities for new services or partnerships.
    • Drive revenue growth through direct sales, upselling, and cross-selling.
    • Lead the preparation of RFQs, EOIs, and tenders in collaboration with the technical and compliance teams.
    • Work closely with operations, HSE, and training teams to ensure service delivery aligns with client expectations

    Qualifications & Experience

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field (MBA is an added advantage)
    • Minimum of 5-7 years experience in business development, preferably in oil & gas, industrial safety, or technical services.
    • Strong understanding of HSE compliance, manpower services, or oilfield operations is preferred.
    • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
    • Experience in proposal development, tendering, and contract negotiation.
