    Business Development Lead

    Our Client, one of the leading Firm in Marketing Research Industry seeks an ambitious and energetic and self driven candidate for the role of “Business Development lead”

    The company craft research programs around clients’ needs - harnessing progressive techniques and technology to find the insights that matter, faster.     Job purpose:  A business development Professional works to develop business relationships or strategic partnerships on behalf of an organization. This type of marketing focuses on facilitating business growth and opportunities. Business Development Professionals understand the fundamental drivers of the business, customers, partners, and competitors. Their insight is critical to making smart decisions in the pursuit of long-term business value. The role involves setting goals and developing plans for business and revenue growth, Researching, planning, and implementing new target market initiatives.

    Job Description;

    • Develop a growth strategy focused both on financial gain and customer satisfaction
    • Researching organizations and individuals to find new opportunities.
    • Planning and overseeing new marketing initiatives.
    • Contacting potential clients to establish rapport and arrange meetings.
    • Finding and developing new markets and improving sales.
    • Increasing the value of current customers while attracting new ones
    • Provide trustworthy feedback and after-sales support
    • Prepare sales contracts ensuring adherence to law-established rules and guidelines
    • Knowledge and use of different sales management platforms to generate leads and turn same to active customers
    • Working of Nigeria and other African markets/countries
    • Driven and self-starter

    Requirements:

    • Candidate should have at least minimum of 10 years of work experience in the research consulting industry

    Qualification: MBA, MSC in Marketing, Social Sciences, Arts, Psychology or related discipline.

    Salary: Negotiable

    A hands-on experience in Market research industry is key.
