    Business Development Executive - Abuja

    Job Summary

    • We are seeking a highly motivated, ambitious, and results-driven Business Development Executive to drive business growth by identifying new opportunities, building strategic partnerships, and acquiring new clients.
    • The ideal candidate will be responsible for generating leads, closing business deals, maintaining strong client relationships, and contributing significantly to the organization’s revenue and market expansion.
    • This role is ideal for a proactive professional who thrives in a target-driven environment, possesses excellent communication and negotiation skills, and has a passion for building lasting business relationships.
    • The successful candidate must be self-motivated, commercially aware, and capable of turning opportunities into profitable business outcomes.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Identify, develop, and pursue new business opportunities to drive revenue growth.
    • Generate qualified leads through networking, referrals, cold calling, digital platforms, and market research.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, government agencies, and strategic partners.
    • Conduct client meetings, presentations, and business negotiations to secure new contracts and partnerships.
    • Prepare compelling business proposals, quotations, and presentations tailored to clients’ needs.
    • Develop and implement business development strategies to achieve monthly and annual revenue targets.
    • Maintain a healthy sales pipeline and provide accurate sales forecasts to management.
    • Conduct market intelligence and competitor analysis to identify emerging opportunities and industry trends.
    • Collaborate with the marketing and operations teams to ensure seamless delivery of client expectations.
    • Attend networking events, exhibitions, conferences, and other business engagements to represent the organization.
    • Prepare weekly and monthly business development reports detailing activities, opportunities, conversions, and revenue generated.
    • Ensure excellent customer service and maintain long-term relationships with existing clients.
    • Meet and exceed assigned KPIs and performance targets.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, Mass Communication, or a related field.
    • 3–5 years of experience in business development, corporate sales, key account management, or a similar role.
    • Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales and revenue targets.
    • Strong understanding of business development strategies, sales processes, and client relationship management.
    • Excellent negotiation, presentation, and persuasive communication skills.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
    • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and perform effectively under pressure.
    • Experience in the hospitality, service, or corporate sales industry is an added advantage.
