    Business Development Executive

    Job Summary:

    The Business Development team sits within the Distributed Energy Provider of Aspire Power Solutions. Its purpose is to identify and educate Aspire’s target customers about A Better Energy Experience. A Better Energy Experience means you can trust Aspire to be reliable, affordable, and innovative. Aspire is always there to power your dreams.

    Beginning after leads are generated by the Marketing Team, the goal of the Business Development Executive is to convert as many leads as possible into customers. Thus, this role is also responsible for educating the customer about who we are, how we are different from others, and how we will deliver a better energy experience.

    Job Responsibilities:

    • Achieve assigned quarterly/annual sales revenue target.

    • Convert leads generated by activities from the marketing team.

    • Develop and convert leads through targeting strategic groups of customers

    • Develop and recommend sales and marketing strategies to keep APS competitive and innovative.

    • Effectively progress opportunities through the APS deal stages to minimize missed opportunities.

    • Gather relevant information from prospective customers to identify their energy needs (includes occasional customer site visits).

    • Prepare proposals, quotes, and/or presentations for potential customers.

    • Collaborate professionally with partners, vendors, engineers, and Customer Experience team toward providing a Better Energy Experience for Aspire’s customers.

    • Respond promptly to customers’ requests in a warm and professional manner.

    • Generate and present weekly and monthly reports

    • Diligent use of CRM for tracking and leads and maintaining a database of all customers and interactions.

    • Technical knowledge of all of Aspire’s products & services/ General knowledge of products in the industry (New team member)

    • Good interpersonal skills developed by working in similar or relevant role)

    • Ability to multi-task and take on additional responsibilities in line with the vision of the team

    Qualifications:

    • BSc/HND holder

    • Previous experience in Business Development (or related roles)

    • Ability to speak and write English language fluently

    • Comfortable using computers

    • Good usage of Microsoft office (emphasis on word, excel & powerpoint)

    • Ability to use Google suites
