Job Summary
Studio COKA is looking for a Business Development Associate to drive the growth, visibility, and positioning of the studio.
This role involves identifying opportunities, initiating conversations, building relationships, and ensuring that Studio COKA’s work is consistently seen, recognized, and considered across both local and global platforms.
The ideal candidate is proactive, confident, and able to translate visibility into high-quality leads and real opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Identify and research potential clients, partners, and project opportunities
- Initiate outreach through email, LinkedIn, physical visits, and other relevant channels
- Follow up on leads and maintain consistent communication
- Prepare and support the development of proposals, presentations, and submission materials
- Track leads, conversations, and conversion progress
- Drive the visibility and positioning of Studio COKA across competitions, features, partnerships, and strategic opportunities
- Proactively source and pursue opportunities for the studio to be featured locally and globally
- Ensure the studio’s work is consistently presented to the right audiences and platforms
- Engage directly with institutions, offices, and high-value environments to introduce the studio and share its work
- Distribute and present Studio COKA’s portfolio and materials in a clear and compelling way
- Maintain a structured and active pipeline of prospects and opportunities

Requirements
- Background in Business, Marketing, Architecture, or a related field
- Experience in business development, sales, or client-facing roles is an advantage
- Familiarity with architecture, design, or construction industry is an advantage
- Ability to write clear and professional messages and proposals
- Based in Enugu
Location & Mobility
- Based in Enugu (required)
- Comfortable traveling within the South East for client engagement and outreach
- Able to travel to Lagos when required
- Able to plan visits independently and represent the studio professionally
Salary
₦180,000 monthly
Includes performance-based incentives tied to:

The candidate must be able to represent Studio COKA professionally at all times, including during visits to offices, institutions, and high-value environments. This includes being intentional about personal presentation, communication, and conduct.
A key part of this role is ensuring that Studio COKA’s work is consistently visible, recognized, and positioned for opportunity.
A lack of visibility, features, or quality leads will be considered a performance gap.
This role is best suited for someone who is not limited by location, but is willing to move, explore opportunities, and represent the studio across different cities and environments.
Clarity of thought, confidence, persistence, and the ability to follow through are essential.
