    Business Development and Partnerships Manager, Supply Chain and Vendor Management

    • This role requires a deep understanding of the supply chain process, overall vendor management and exceptional relationship management skills, and a proven track record of fostering strong relationships with merchants and suppliers, driving growth initiatives, and ensuring the success of our supply chain operations in the B2B sector.

    Responsibilities

    • Assume direct accountability for Duplo Vendor Management solution - sales growth and performance.
    • Conduct comprehensive market research to identify key trends, opportunities and potential risk within the supply chain and vendor management operations.
    • Develop and implement effective business development strategies to capitalize on market opportunities to drive growth.
    • Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities, partnerships and collaborations.
    • Identify and establish relationships with potential merchants and suppliers.
    • Negotiate contracts and agreements; ensuring favorable terms, pricing and SLAs
    • Maintain and nurture strong relationships with existing merchants/suppliers to ensure a reliable and efficient supply chain.
    • Work closely with the cross-functional team to tailor solutions that align with the customer needs and company’s objectives.
    • Proactively provide visibility around pipelines, strategic partnerships, and targets through scheduled reports, stand-up meetings, etc.
    • Establish, nurture, and expand the partner relationship to drive increased preference for Duplo’s products and solutions
    • Monitoring performance and growth metrics, identifying insights and recommendations to identify new commercial opportunities.
    • Report activities and progress to the leadership team.

    Skills, Qualifications and Experience:

    • 7+ years of experience in building or managing a partner and BD network, especially in the supply chain/vendor management in financial services.
    • 4+ Years of experience structuring, pricing, and negotiating large-scale partnerships
    • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding established goals for the business and for partners
    • Proven experience in business development, with a focus on supply chain and invoice financing in the banking industry
    • Demonstrated success in negotiating contracts and building strong supplier relationships.
    • Ability to work with multiple stakeholders.
    • Proficiency in written and verbal communication.
    • Ability to make decisions in a changing environment, anticipate future needs, and drive results
    • Degree in Business Administration, Management Science e.t.c
