Business Development and Operations Manager at Murtala Muhammed Foundation

The Business Development and Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing call centre telemedicine business, process improvement, business growth and strategy by identifying funding and business opportunities in line with the foundation’s program goal, objectives and target.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible for the overall operations of the telemedicine business thereby managing people, price, promotion and product.
• Oversee the function of the call centre team.
• Develop growth strategies and plans for the telemedicine initiatives
• Develop resource mobilization plans to operationalize the strategy of the NGO
• Ensure, in coordination with other departments, to develop, manage and maintain strategic partnerships with local donor missions, including bilateral and multilaterals.
• Managing and retaining relationships with existing clients and new customers
• Identifying and researching business opportunities and mapping business strengths and customer needs
• Responsible for strategic plan to increase sales and client base in the telemedicine business.
• Writing Successful business and grant proposal.
• Research and identify new business opportunities - including new markets, growth areas, trends, customers, partnerships, products and services - or new ways of reaching existing markets
• Understand the needs of your customers and be able to respond effectively with a plan on how to meet the needs.
• Think strategically - seeing the bigger picture and setting aims and objectives in order to develop and improve the business
• Work strategically - carrying out necessary planning in order to implement operational changes
• Ensure processes and procedures for operation as well as marketing are in place in line with the Organizational goal.

REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in business, administration, or related field.
• Four to five years of previous experience in sales/marketing, management, customer service, finance, administration, or related field
• Minimum of Upper credit
• MBA is an added advantage
• Knowledge of telemedicine and call center services
• Demonstrated track record of writing project and business proposal and also obtaining grant funding from institutional donors.
• Proven record in Marketing and sales
• Eager to expand the company with new sales, clients, and territories
• Able to analyze data and sales statistics and translate results into better solutions
• Experienced at preparing and presenting quarterly goals and forecasts for future projects
• Able to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
• Excellent skills in pitching and proposal writing
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent leadership and people management skills
• Proficient computer skills, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel)
