Role Description

• This role will be responsible for coordinating and implementing Business Development strategies for the organization.

Job Responsibilities

• Assist in developing & implementing business development strategies
• Coordinate & support business development efforts across various teams
• Conduct market research to identify trends, competitive landscape, & potential clients
• Analyze data to provide insights & recommendations for business development initiatives
• Collect data to create well-informed and precise business plans & presentations
• Prepare & deliver engaging presentations for internal teams & potential clients
• Create reports & dashboards to track business development performance metrics
• Prepare agendas and materials for meetings to ensure productive discussions
• Manage the company's social media accounts and online presence
• Develop content for social media platforms to enhance brand visibility & engagement
• Monitor & analyze social media performance metrics
• Coordinate & oversee partnership and brand awareness events

Required Skills and Competencies

• Market knowledge
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and generate insights
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Familiarity with social media platforms and digital marketing strategies
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and CRM software.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree / HND in Business Administration or related field
• Minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience in business development or a similar role, preferably in the insurance or financial services industry
• Professional degree or certifications are an added advantage.
