Business Analyst at Assets Microfinance Bank

Responsibilities

• Responsible for researching, reporting, formulating and implementing innovative analytic solutions and accelerators
• Decompose, refine, and document requirements using appropriate graphical and textual techniques
• Business process analysis and modelling, research, review, and analyze existing processes and develop strategies for enhancements
• Evaluating business processes, anticipating requirements, uncovering areas for improvement, developing and implementing solutions.
• Leading ongoing reviews of business processes and developing optimization strategies.
• Staying up to date on the on the latest process and IT advancements to automate and modernize systems.
• Conducting meetings and presentations to share ideas and findings.
• Performing requirements analysis.
• Effectively communicating your insights and plans to cross-functional team members and management.
• Gathering critical information from meetings with various stakeholders and producing useful reports.
• Working closely with clients, technicians, and managerial staff
• Ensuring solutions meet business needs and requirements
• Prioritizing initiatives based on business needs and requirements.
• Serving as a liaison between stakeholders and users.
• Managing competing resources and priorities.
• Monitoring deliverables and ensuring timely completion of projects
• Any other duties required by the HOD.

Qualifications

• 2+ years’ experience as a business or data analyst or in a related field.
• Strong knowledge of and experience with reporting packages, databases.
• Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analyzing datasets (e.g., Excel, SPSS, SAS)
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze significant amounts of raw data and draw valid inferences and present them successfully to management using a reporting tool
• Technical writing skills
• Ability to troubleshoot data and high attention to details.
• Excellent command of English and communication skills.
