Job Summary

The Burger Cook is responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality burgers, sides, and related menu items in line with company standards. This role focuses on consistency, speed, food safety, and presentation to ensure an exceptional dining experience for customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and season burger patties, buns, toppings, and sauces according to recipes.
• Grill, fry, or toast burger components to perfection while ensuring food safety.
• Assemble burgers and sides for service, maintaining presentation standards.
• Monitor cooking equipment and maintain correct temperatures.
• Keep the burger station clean, organized, and stocked at all times.
• Assist in stock rotation, checking freshness, and reporting shortages.
• Work efficiently during high-volume service periods.
• Follow portion control guidelines and reduce food waste.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Burger Cook, Grill Cook, or similar role.
• Knowledge of grilling, frying, and assembly techniques for burgers.
• Ability to maintain speed without compromising quality.
• Understanding of kitchen hygiene and food safety regulations.

• Creativity in developing new burger combinations.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Good time management in fast-paced settings.

Education & Experience

• Culinary training or certification is an advantage but not required.
• Minimum 2–5 years in a professional kitchen or fast-food environment.
