Job Description 

• We are currently looking for a reliable Builder to join our team of professionals. To be successful in this role, the candidate must be able to manage, coordinate, and work on project construction sites.He/She must have a methodical approach and superb interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Managing the construction process on site to ensure that projects meet deadlines in line with approved budgets.
• Negotiating contracts with vendors, contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers to obtain the best possible price.
• Supervising subcontractors & vendors activities to ensure optimal and quality delivery.
• Identifying potential defects in drawings/designs from planning phase to execution on site.
• Liaising with architects and engineers in the project team to ensure that designs meet regulations.
• Coordinate the Submissions of all working drawings to Development Control and liaising with relevant authorities for approvals.
• Receives instruction from & reports directly to the Project Coordinator/Cost Manager.
• Receives directive on any other issues as deemed necessary by the Chairman and Managing Director.

Requirements

• HND in Building Technology
• 3 - 5 years post-NYSC experience working in a similar role
• Must have sound knowledge of the construction industry
• Ability to organize, plan, and strategize.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
• Great networking abilities.
• Must be punctual at all times.
• Candidate must be a reliable builder.
