    Brand Marketing and Communications Manager

    Job Description

    Were looking for a strong strategic and creative thinker, exceptional writer and energetic individual to play a key role in the creation and execution of INFINION's integrated and communications marketing plan. This position will be responsible for driving cohesive, well-rounded campaigns, promoting the products, its digital presence, partnerships, thought leadership, experiential marketing, external communications, and more.

    This teammate will help develop integrated content and storytelling across traditional and digital channels. In this role, you will partner with agency partners as needed and will work cross functionally with creative, product, sales, and R&D functions to ensure consistent, timely and impactful messaging that aligns with our strategic business goals. Overall, the individual will help grow brand awareness, build the company profile and protect the organisation's overall reputation. Additionally, the Manager will report directly into the Chief Executive Officer.

    Professional Responsibilities:

    • Identify research needs, execute research studies and projects, and analyze research in order to identify opportunities for the organisation.
    • Stay current on market trends and acquire market intelligence be the expert on our buyers, who are they, how they buy and their key buying criteria.
    • Understand the competitive landscape be an expert on our competition and how they are positioned.
    • Create, execute and manage marketing programs and campaigns for the products and brand including key activities and budgets to support the retention of existing customers and the acquisition of new customers.
    • Define, develop, and manage the brand communication strategy using a variety of media.
    • Own the development and messaging of the company's vision and products on media platforms.
    • Present and evaluate design ideas and recommendations for products and our brand.
    • Collaborate with product management and internal stakeholders to develop product positioning and messaging that resonate with our target buyer personas.
    • Together with the product team, educate both internal and external stakeholders on our product story, features, and their benefits.
    • Create content [website] sales documentation, product videos, website copy, blog posts) to articulate the benefits of our brand and products to the world.
    • Understand and support our sales channels; train them on the problems we solve for our buyers and users and assist them when appropriate to provide deeper dives into the product.
    • Develop and manage brand partnership programs with a focus on build market-specific activations and strong customer/community ties
    • Compose draft speeches for senior management and assist with finalizing speeches.
    • Create plans for press conferences and interviews to help send the required message to our consumer base.
    • Network with industry experts and potential clients to drive brand awareness.
    • Evaluate success of campaigns and track ROI to measure the performance of each of the marketing strategies to work on them continually.
    • Gather and analyze feedback data to develop new ideas improving marketing strategy and advertising.
    • Performs other related duties as assigned.

    Requirements

    • BSc in Marketing, Communications, Business, Public Relations, or relevant field.
    • Four+ years of experience in communications, brand marketing, digital, social, advertising or related field.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills -- there is a heavy amount of writing, presenting, public speaking and selling ideas in this role.
    • Prefer working in a collaborative, cross-team capacity. This role requires you to work across functions and departments to bring to life the product. You are at the center of our entire organisation, constantly interacting with teammates and partners.
    • Exceptional ROI-tracking skills, able to prove what is or isn't working
    • Must be a strong public speaker, comfortable in front of large, senior groups, and a solid writer.
    • You must be able to think creatively and be proactive in solving problems.
    • Must have a student mentality and be willing to learn to improve knowledge base and skills
    • Strategic thinker able to identify long-term opportunities and trends
    • Familiarity with B2B and B2C advertising campaigns
    • Hands-on experience with web content management tools, like WordPress
    • Proficiency in MS Office
    • SEO analysis and Google AdWords/Analytics experience strongly desired.
    • Experience with marketing campaigns on social media
    • Established experience creating content marketing and ad operations. Ability to target, drive lead generation and execute integrated campaigns.
    • Strong copy writing skills with prior experience creating blog posts, social media, content, campaign creative, internal and/or external newsletters.
    • Excellent track record of publishing content on website platforms like WordPress and digital social platforms.
    • Basic knowledge of HTML or CSS for the creation of websites or additional web pages, a plus.
    • Strong project management capabilities working across an organisation.
    • Previous experience managing budgets and working within the framework.
    • Strong track record in media relations.
    • Experience executing events or trade shows a plus.
    • Superior written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
    • Ability to multitask and perform under tight deadlines.
    • Self-starter, creative, digitally savvy and works well in a start-up culture.
