    Brand Manager / Category Manager

    Reporting to: Reporting to the Head of Marketing SSA

    Job Responsibilities

    • Work with Supply, Sales, and Finance to develop and execute successful Brand plans to deliver net revenue, gross contributions, market share and profit target within timescale and budget as approved by Local business / IBD (Dabur International Business).
    • Develop and Execute Annual marketing plan activities including local media strategy / plans for a given brand within a category, responsible for ensuring implementation of the plan.
    • Analyze available CMI data (published / 3P / Internal) for Market size, segment trends and share findings with own thoughts and ideas for Hair Care and other relevant Category in Nigeria
    • Connect Consumers & KOLs (stylists / Hair Association members) and come up with creative/innovative ideas for brand/segmental growth for short & long term (by Geography, Chapters etc.)
    • Lead the Hair Association connects for PAN Nigeria through the team of Educators and Merchandisers and participate in General meets, Annual meets, and other relevant meetings with ORS as the START manufacturer
    • Lead Creative development to motivate the TG and Customers for trial/repeats of ORS Relaxer and maintenance range
    • Provide monthly update to business review and monitor market performance, responsible for successful implementation of Brand plans as per business reviews and business plan.
    • In close co-operation with the Trade Marketing function, identify trade needs/opportunities, develop pricing and distribution strategies in line with trade promotions of brands.
    • Execute product launches agreed with local Business/IBD-HQ, contribute to innovation by delivering product development programs to further margin growth.
    • Implement portfolio strategy in conjunction with local needs as well as IBD Category and IBD innovation to support overall business strategy, short/ medium term, implement media strategy and plans.
    • Manage development and activation of Hair care Segments
    • Accountable for brand financial health especially marketing budget on assigned brands.
    • Implement market copy strategy for brand and ensure adaption possible category across area.
    • Partners with media/consumer and market insight to implement media strategy and plans.
    • Partner with eCommerce team in driving GMV growth leveraging on brand Digital Marketing activities as well as differentiated eCommerce portfolio where relevant.

    Job Requirements

    • A Business Management Degree at Post graduation level.
    • Minimum of 6 years’ experience in core marketing functions.
    • Preferably 2 years of Hair care experience would be an added advantage.
    • Preferably Female.
    • Agile and adaptable.
    • Good understanding of digital world and excellent exposure within ATL, BTL, CRM/loyalty Marketing.
    • Able to demonstrate commercial acumen.
    • Detail oriented, proactive, strong fellow with ability to multitask.
    • Excellent communication, analytical and creative skill.
