Role Description

• This is a full-time, on-site role for a Bookstore Assistant located in Lagos.
• The Bookstore Assistant will be responsible for managing inventory, assisting customers with book selections, handling sales transactions, and maintaining the organization of the store.
• Additional duties include restocking shelves, processing online orders, and providing excellent customer service both in-store and via digital communication channels.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for customer interaction
• Basic knowledge of inventory management and sales processes
• Competency in handling sales transactions and using point of sale systems
• Ability to organize and restock books efficiently
• Basic knowledge of online order processing
• Passion for books and reading
• Previous experience in a bookstore or retail environment is a plus
