Key Responsibilities

• Accounts Payable: Process and pay invoices, ensure accurate coding and authorization.
• Accounts Receivable: Process and reconcile customer payments, ensure accurate invoicing and credit memos.
• Payroll: Process bi-weekly payroll, ensure accurate deductions and benefits.
• General Ledger: Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensure accurate journal entries.
• Financial Reporting: Assist with financial statement preparation, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Compliance: Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies.
• Data Entry: Accurately enter financial transactions into accounting software.

Key Requirements:

• Education: Diploma or certificate in accounting or bookkeeping.
• Experience: 1-2 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting.

Skills

• Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero).
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Certifications

• Certified Bookkeeper (CB) or QuickBooks Certified User (QBCU) an asset.
