BOH Cleaner/Kitchen Porter at One StepAhead Consulting

Job Summary:

• We are seeking a reliable and hardworking BOH Cleaner/Kitchen Porter to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and back of house areas.

Key Responsibilities:

• Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and workspaces
• Sweep, mop, and scrub floors and walls
• Empty trash and recyclables
• Clean and maintain dishwashing and laundry areas
• Restock kitchen supplies and ingredients
• Assist with general kitchen tasks and errands
• Support kitchen staff during peak periods
• Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards
• Collaborate with other BOH staff to achieve kitchen goals

Requirements:

• 2+ year of experience in a kitchen or cleaning environment
• Basic knowledge of kitchen operations and food safety
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• High school diploma or equivalent required
