Job Overview:

• We are currently seeking a skilled and proactive Biomedical Engineer to join our growing healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all medical equipment within the hospital is properly installed, maintained, calibrated, and functioning efficiently to support quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, inspect, maintain, and repair biomedical equipment and devices.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance and safety checks on hospital equipment.
• Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and provide timely solutions.
• Maintain accurate records of equipment servicing, repairs, and calibration.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements.
• Support procurement processes by evaluating biomedical equipment specifications.
• Train healthcare staff on the proper use and handling of medical equipment.
• Coordinate with external vendors and service providers when necessary.
• Monitor equipment performance and recommend upgrades or replacements where needed.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Biomedical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 4 years relevant experience in a hospital or healthcare setting.
• Strong technical knowledge of medical equipment and diagnostic devices.
• Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
• Knowledge of healthcare safety standards and regulations is an added advantage.
