Role Summary:

As a Biomedical Engineer at our client's healthcare facility, you will be responsible for designing, testing, and maintaining medical equipment and systems to ensure optimal performance and safety. You will collaborate with healthcare professionals to assess technological needs, implement new technologies, and provide technical support for medical devices.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and modify medical equipment and devices to meet the specific needs of healthcare providers and patients.
• Conduct tests and experiments to evaluate the performance, reliability, and safety of medical equipment and systems.
• Install, calibrate, and maintain medical devices, including imaging equipment, patient monitors, and surgical instruments.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and provide timely repair and maintenance services to minimize equipment downtime.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, and technicians, to assess equipment needs and develop solutions to improve patient care.
• Stay updated on the latest advancements in biomedical engineering and medical technology to inform equipment procurement and upgrade decisions.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and quality assurance requirements for medical devices and equipment.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering or related field.
• Proven experience working as a Biomedical Engineer, preferably in a healthcare setting.
• Strong technical skills in electronics, mechanics, and computer programming.
• Knowledge of medical device regulations and standards (e.g., FDA, ISO).
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
