• The successful candidate will be responsible for managing patient billing processes efficiently and ensuring accuracy, transparency, and compliance with healthcare financial procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Preparing and processing patients’ bills accurately and promptly.
• Verifying services rendered against medical records and treatment sheets.
• Managing insurance claims, liaising with HMOs, and following up on outstanding payments.
• Reconciling daily financial transactions and maintaining proper billing records.
• Addressing billing inquiries and resolving discrepancies professionally.
• Ensuring compliance with healthcare billing regulations and internal financial policies.
• Generating periodic billing and revenue reports for management review.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Proven experience in billing, preferably within the healthcare sector.
• 2-5 years of work experience.
• Strong knowledge of medical billing procedures and insurance claims processing.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office applications.
• Excellent numerical, analytical, and communication skills.
• High level of integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail.
