Job Summary

• The Beauty Stylist is responsible for providing a range of beauty services including hair styling, makeup, skincare, and grooming, while ensuring a high standard of customer service and client satisfaction.
• The ideal candidate should be creative, up-to-date with beauty trends, and skilled in various styling techniques.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide hair styling, blow-drying, curling, and hair treatment services.
• Apply makeup for different occasions such as weddings, photoshoots, or everyday wear.
• Offer basic skincare and facial services (if trained).
• Recommend beauty products and regimens to clients.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of tools, workstations, and beauty equipment.
• Keep up with trends in fashion, makeup, and beauty.
• Welcome clients, assess their needs, and deliver excellent service.
• Cross-sell other services offered by the salon/spa.

Requirements

• Certification or training in cosmetology, beauty therapy, or related field.
• Proven experience as a stylist or beautician.
• Knowledge of different hair types and makeup application techniques.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work weekends and during peak periods.
