    Banking Operations Associate

    The Role

    • You will be part of the team responsible for the prompt resolution of customers dispute complaints through the utilization of available tools to enhance customer confidence and continued loyalty with Gomoney and oversee the effective reconciliation of all transactions and settlements.

    How Will You Create Impact?

    • As a Banking Operations Associate at Gomoney, you will assist in building a banking operations framework which will form a customized version of E-banking operations that exists within traditional banks today.
    • Ideal candidates must be able to demonstrate knowledge of all aspects of banking operations, particularly back office operations, payment systems operation, etc.
    • Passionate about customer experiences and they must be an excellent communicator in both written and spoken English and have good numeracy skills.

    Job Responsibilities

    • Analyze and assess customer transactions thoroughly to reduce operational risk and ensure safe and reliable settlement processing.
    • Review and analyze patterns that deviate from the norm and then investigate and escalate as appropriate.
    • Daily, weekly and monthly proofing of collection accounts to ensure expected balances are maintained and unusual entries are regularized.
    • Process reversals and refunds of failed transactions within assigned service level agreement.
    • Receive and review card transaction enquiries with the intention to provide accurate feedback or initiate appropriate dispute and chargeback formalities.
    • Review banking policies and guidelines to ensure processes are in line with internal and regulatory framework

    Ideal Profile

    • At least 2 - 3 years of back office, e-banking, payment and card operations experience in a financial institution or Fintech.
    • Experience in the use of core banking applications such as T24 and other third party settlement platform
    • An excellent understanding of transaction reconciliation, card settlement, chargeback concepts and card network dispute resolution guidelines.
    • Willingness to contribute to the development of systems and procedures to improve process efficiency and establish best practices
    • Knowledge of compliance regulations and policies guiding banking and financial operations in Nigeria.
