    Responsibilities

    • Open the bakery early in the morning
    • Ensure that the environment is tidy and all baking tools are properly cleaned and sanitized.
    • Clean kitchen equipment and tools before use
    • Weigh flour and other ingredients to prepare dough for production.
    • Bake different bread types according to the ingredient recipe of bakery
    • Mix various ingredients to create fillings for pastries.
    • Shape dough to prepare different types of pastries, including croissants, cookies and sweet rolls
    • Prepare custom-made pastries based on customers’ preferences.
    • Recommend recipes to renew our menu and attract more customers (e.g. gluten-free or vegan desserts)
    • Track food supplies and place orders, as needed
    • adequately record all production of bread according to batches per day.
    • Report directly to the bakery manager on issues partaining to the bakery.

    Requirements

    • Candidates should possess an FSLC / SSCE qualification with 2 - 3 years relevant work experience.
