Backend Engineer (Go Lang) at Lytup Power Systems Inc

The Role

• We are looking for a Mid to Senior Backend Engineer with expertise in Go (Golang) to join our dynamic team on a 3 months contract.
• The ideal candidate will be instrumental in building backend servers and applications that are robust, scalable, and crucial to our mission of providing smart energy solutions. Experience should be more than 3 years.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain our backend servers and applications using Go (Golang), with a focus on high performance, versatility, scalability, and reliability.
• Implement and work with web sockets and MQTT for efficient and reliable asynchronous communication.
• Utilize ENT as the ORM of choice for effective database management and operations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements, design solutions, and deliver high-quality software.
• Contribute to the architectural and design decisions, aiming for the optimization of our battery energy storage solutions.
• Ensure code quality, stability, and scalability through peer reviews, unit testing, and automated testing practices.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Backend Engineer, with a strong background in Go (Golang).
• Experience in building backend servers, preferably with experience in Gin or similar Go frameworks.
• Proficient in working with ENT for ORM and a strong understanding of database management principles.
• Previous experience with hardware systems will be an advantage.
• Hands-on experience with web socket communication using MQTT.
• Familiarity with cloud services, microservices architecture, and containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes is a must.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, with a creative and analytical approach to tackling challenges.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
