Backend Developer at SignalADoc Limited

Job Description:

• We are looking for a backend developer who is passionate about bankend technologies (PHP, Laravel, Javascript and NodeJS) to join our team. As a Backend Developer at SignalADoc, you will collaborate with our team of developers, designers, and product managers to create applications that are innovative, user-friendly, and reliable.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs, ensuring high performance and responsiveness.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement new features, including UI/UX designers, product managers, and other developers.
• Work on bug fixing and improving application performance
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
• Collaborate closely with frontend developers to integrate server-side logic with user interfaces built with React and React native.
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable and efficient backend solutions using relative technologies.
• Implement server-side logic, APIs, and database interactions to support frontend functionalities.
• Troubleshoot and resolve backend issues, optimize performance, and address scalability challenges.
• Stay updated on emerging trends and best practices in backend development, JavaScript, NodeJS, PHP, and Laravel.
• Conduct thorough code reviews to ensure code quality, maintainability, and adherence to coding standards.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or any related field or equivalent work experience.
• Proven experience as a Backend Developer (minimum of 3 years to 5 years).
• Solid understating of backend technologies such as JavaScript, NodeJS, PHP and Laravel.
• Understanding of REST APIs and integrating with frontend framework (React).
• Proactive attitude towards learning and staying updated on industry trends.
• Experience with version control systems such as Git and Bitbucket.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and debugging skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with backend development frameworks like Laravel and NodeJS.
• Knowledge of mobile UI/UX design principles.
• Experience with version control systems, particularly Git and Bitbucket.
• Understanding of Agile methodologies.
• Familiarity with continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
• Familiarity with API testing tools like Postman and Project managing tools like Jira.
