Backend Developer (Python & Django) at OnfleekQ Technologies Limited

Key Responsibilities

• Develop & Maintain APIs: Build and optimize RESTful APIs and WebSocket-based services.
• Database Management: Design, implement, and manage databases using PostgreSQL/MySQL.
• Scalability & Performance: Optimize backend systems for efficiency, scalability, and speed.
• Integration & Security: Implement third-party integrations and ensure backend security best practices.
• Collaboration: Work closely with frontend developers, DevOps engineers, and product managers to enhance platform functionality.
• Debugging & Optimization: Monitor system performance and troubleshoot backend issues.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Python & Django Framework (3+ years experience preferred).
• Experience working with APIs (REST, WebSockets is a plus).
• Database expertise (PostgreSQL, MySQL, or similar).
• Knowledge of authentication & security best practices (JWT, OAuth).
• Experience with asynchronous task queues (Celery, Redis etc).
• Version control (Git, GitHub/GitLab) and CI/CD workflows.
• Ability to work fully onsite in Abuja (Remote work is NOT available).
