Backend Developer Intern at Huiospay

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the development team to design, develop, test, and deploy high-performance backend solutions using Node.js.
• Implement server-side logic and integrate user-facing elements using server-side templating and front-end technologies.
• Work closely with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
• Write reusable, testable, and efficient code.
• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
• Contribute to the improvement of existing systems and processes.

Requirements:

• Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Solid understanding of JavaScript and Node.js.
• Familiarity with backend frameworks, such as Express.js.
• Experience with RESTful API development.
• Basic understanding of front-end technologies, such as HTML, CSS, and client-side JavaScript.
• Knowledge of version control systems, such as Git.
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous internship or project experience in backend development.
• Familiarity with database systems, such as MongoDB, MySQL, or PostgreSQL.
• Understanding of microservices architecture.
• Ability to work in a collaborative and agile development environment.
