The core backend teams are responsible for architecting the services that make the Mono internal and external dashboard works for our partners and your colleagues.
We’re looking for people with a strong background or interest in solving real-world problems and the ability to translate complexity into simplicity.
You’re comfortable in dealing with lots of moving pieces, have exquisite attention to detail, and have curiosity in learning new technologies and systems
Requirements
3+ years of industry experience building high-quality code and infrastructure
Lead the architecture, design, and implementation of Backend services powering our dashboards.
Improve engineering processes especially through testing, monitoring, and alerting
Coordinate technical execution with other team members. Envision solutions collaboratively and coordinate their execution as a team, addressing technical and coordination issues.
Carefully manage API retro compatibility, document API changes, and implement deprecation plans
Implement automated quality assurance and monitoring modules
Participate in code, design, and production-readiness reviews
Experience shipping high-quality products from start to finish
Thrives in a collaborative environment involving different functions, stakeholders, and subject matter experts

A desire to work closely with developers who depend on your libraries to deliver customer value
Attention to detail, especially around performance, accessibility, reliability, and security
Enjoys being a generalist working on both the frontend, backend, and anything it takes to solve problems and delight users, including work that falls outside engineering.
