Back End Developer at Stackivy

• We are seeking a skilled Backend Developer to join our dynamic team.
• The ideal candidate will have a strong background in backend development, a deep understanding of financial systems, and a passion for fintech innovation.
• You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining the server-side logic, databases, and ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front end.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop robust, scalable, and secure backend services and APIs.
• Collaborate with frontend developers and other team members to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
• Implement data storage solutions, including databases, key-value stores, and other data structures.
• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
• Ensure the security and data protection of backend services.
• Participate in the entire application lifecycle, focusing on coding and debugging.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
• Troubleshoot and debug applications.
• Perform code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
• Proven experience as a Backend Developer or similar role.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Javascript, and Node.js.
• Experience with database management systems like PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, or similar.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs, web services, and microservices architecture.
• Strong understanding of software development principles and design patterns.
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Understanding of security best practices in backend development.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in the fintech industry or working with financial systems.
• Knowledge of blockchain technology and cryptocurrencies.
• Familiarity with message brokers (e.g., RabbitMQ, Kafka).
• Experience with continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
• Knowledge of agile development methodologies.
