As the Automobile Painter, you will be responsible for preparing vehicle surfaces and applying paint finishes to restore and enhance the appearance of automobiles while ensuring quality and durability of paintwork.
Responsibilities
Prepare vehicle surfaces by sanding, cleaning, and masking areas before painting
Apply primers, paints, and finishing coats to vehicles using appropriate techniques and equipment
Match paint colors accurately to ensure seamless vehicle restoration
Inspect finished work to ensure quality standards and smooth paint finish
Maintain painting tools, equipment, and a clean working environment
Requirements
Minimum of SSCE or relevant technical training
1–2 years’ experience as an automobile painter or in vehicle body repair
Strong knowledge of paint preparation, spraying techniques, and finishing processes
Attention to detail with strong craftsmanship skills
Ability to work independently and within a workshop team
