Auditor at Reddington Hospital

Job Summary:

• The Auditor will be responsible for conducting audits of hospital departments, financial operations, and business processes to ensure accuracy, compliance, effective internal controls, and adherence to established policies and regulatory requirements. The role will involve identifying risks, reviewing financial and operational activities, and providing recommendations to improve efficiency and safeguard hospital assets.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct routine and ad-hoc audits of hospital departments, financial operations, and processes.
• Review financial records, transactions, and supporting documents for accuracy and compliance.
• Evaluate internal controls and identify potential financial and operational risks.
• Recommend corrective actions and improvements to strengthen processes and controls.
• Monitor compliance with hospital policies, financial procedures, and applicable regulations.
• Assist management in implementing audit recommendations and track corrective actions.
• Prepare clear and detailed audit reports highlighting findings, risks, and recommendations.
• Maintain proper documentation of audit procedures, findings, and supporting evidence.
• Support investigations into financial irregularities, control weaknesses, and policy violations where required.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Professional certification such as ACA, ACCA, or CIA is an advantage.
• Minimum of 2–3 years of relevant auditing experience.
• Experience in a healthcare or hospital environment is an added advantage.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, internal controls, and regulatory compliance.
• Excellent analytical, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• High level of integrity, attention to detail, and confidentiality.
