As a Retail Audit Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in conducting comprehensive financial and operational audits of our retail stores.
Objectively helping to identify areas of improvement, mitigate risks, and enhance overall business performance within the retail sector.
Responsibilities
Audit Planning and Strategy: Design audit strategies and methodologies tailored to the unique challenges of the retail industry.
Financial Auditing: Identify discrepancies, fraud, or financial irregularities and recommend corrective actions.
Operational Auditing: Review and assess the efficiency and effectiveness of retail store operations, including inventory management, supply chain, and customer service.
Compliance Auditing: Ensure that retail stores are compliant with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
Identify non-compliance issues and collaborate with stakeholders to address them.
Develop risk mitigation strategies and control measures.
Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging risks in the retail sector.
Recommend and implement process improvements and internal controls to enhance retail operations.
Foster open communication with retail store managers, regional management, and other relevant stakeholders to address issues and collaborate on solutions.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum 2 years of auditing experience, with a focus on the retail industry, is an added advantage
Strong knowledge of auditing standards, financial reporting, and internal controls.
Excellent leadership and team management skills.
Analytical mindset with the ability to identify and address complex issues.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
