Job Description
Collating, Checking, and Analyzing Spreadsheet Data:

• Collect and organize financial data from various sources, including spreadsheets.
• Verify the accuracy of data entries, identify discrepancies, and reconcile any inconsistencies.

Financial Reporting and Commentaries:

• Prepare comprehensive financial reports based on the analyzed data.
• Provide insightful commentaries on financial performance, trends, and areas for improvement.

Compliance and Policy Adherence:

• Ensure adherence to organizational policies, procedures, and relevant regulations.
• Stay informed about Nigerian legislation related to finance and accounting.

Internal Audit Scope and Planning:

• Determine the scope of internal audits based on risk assessment and business needs.
• Develop annual audit plans to cover critical areas such as inventory, cash handling, and expense management.

Documenting Audit Process:

• Obtain and analyze accounting documentation, including invoices, receipts, and financial statements.
• Evaluate previous audit reports to identify recurring issues and improvement opportunities.
• Review cash flowcharts to understand cash movement within the restaurant.

Audit Findings and Recommendations:

• Document the audit process, including procedures followed and evidence collected.
• Prepare clear and concise audit findings, highlighting areas of concern or commendation.
• Recommend corrective actions to address identified deficiencies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Experience in auditing, preferably in the food industry.
• Strong analytical skills
