Audit Officer at Ajoke Group Limited

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular audits of financial records, inventory, and operational processes to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies.
• Review sales transactions, distribution reports, and warehouse documentation to verify completeness and authenticity.
• Assess internal controls over inventory management, stock movement, and reconciliation between physical and system records.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of logistics, procurement, and cash-handling procedures to identify potential risks or inefficiencies.
• Verify supplier invoices, customer billing, and discount structures to ensure transparency and prevent revenue leakage.
• Perform surprise audits of warehouses, depots, and retail outlets to confirm compliance with operational standards.
• Identify irregularities, discrepancies, or fraudulent activities and recommend corrective actions.
• Prepare detailed audit reports outlining findings, risks, and practical recommendations for improvement.
• Follow up on the implementation of audit recommendations and report progress to senior management.
• Support management in strengthening internal control systems and promoting a culture of accountability.
• Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements relevant to distribution, sales, and financial reporting.
• Maintain confidentiality and professionalism when handling sensitive financial and operational information.

Qualifications

• Interested candidates should possess an OND, HND, or Bachelor's Degree with 1 - 2 years experience.
