As an Assistant Security Manager at Siemens Energy, you will be at the forefront of safeguarding our personnel, assets, and operations in Nigeria and the broader Middle East & Africa region. This role is ideal for candidates with a strong background in corporate security, law enforcement, or military experience, who are eager to tackle meaningful projects such as crisis management and security incident response.
How You’ll Make An Impact
Implement and ensure compliance with Siemens Energy security governance requirements across various domains, including travel and project security.
Manage security incidents and crises, providing tactical guidance and operational support to regional management and employees.
Conduct situation and threat analyses to inform security strategies and decisions.
Promote security awareness and conduct training sessions in collaboration with other functions, such as Cyber Security.
Deliver cost-effective security measures that support business objectives while simplifying processes and procedures.
Foster strong relationships with internal and external partners to enhance security operations and collaboration.
What You Bring
A relevant academic degree or professional qualification from a recognized security authority, or equivalent experience in law enforcement, military, or regulatory enforcement.
At least five years of experience in corporate security or a similar commercial environment in high-risk countries, with practical project management and crisis management skills.
In-depth knowledge of political and security issues in Nigeria and the Middle East & Africa, with strong analytical skills to assimilate information from diverse sources.
Excellent communication skills in English, with strong networking, negotiating, and influencing abilities.
Proven ability to prioritize tasks, manage workloads effectively with minimal supervision, and handle multiple diverse tasks flexibly.
Willingness to travel extensively, including to high-risk countries, and sensitivity to diverse cultural, religious, ethnic, and tribal groups.
