Job Role: ASSISTANT PROJECT MANAGER - CIVIL 
Location: Benin City, Edo State
Reporting to: Project Manager - Civil
Role Responsibilities:

• Liaise and supervise the civil construction activities of the contractors and consultants / architect working at the site/involved in the project.
• Ensure the agreed technical specifications of the various civil activities are met and sign them off.
• Ensure that the various civil related activities are completed within agreed time frames.
• Keep check and maintain records of incoming and outgoing materials required for the project.
• Bring and report deviations on quality, time lines from the plethora of contractors working at the site.
• Bring about a safety culture within the project, so that there is safety for men and materials.
• Look at the respective section designs critically and recommend value added propositions for cost savings and improving the structural integrity.
• In addition to the main process plant, also look at the non process civil buildings construction.
• Get involved in local sourcing of raw materials in a most cost effective manner.

Specification:
Experience and Qualifications: A degree in Civil Engineering, with 9-10 years’ experience in working in Chemical industry or distilleries, and handling Civil related industrial jobs, like foundation designing and implementation, storage tanks etc. preferably at the project stage.
