Assistant Head of Account at EL-ELYON ALLIANCE & SECURITIES LIMITED

A young, focused, smart and intelligent Accountant with excellence knowledge in book keeping is urgently needed as an Assistant Head of Accounts.

Details of the required qualifications, skills and experience is as contained below:

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Prepare management accounts periodically for submission to regulatory bodies timely
• Prepare management accounts and reports periodically for Board Meetings timely
• Posting transactions accurately and on real time
• Do call over of postings
• Carry out daily reconciliation of financial transactions including banks
• Handling banks transactions and liaise with banks
• Handle regulatory matters effectively- VAT, PAYE, WHT, Pension, Taxes
• Liaise with External Auditors
• Maintain debtors and creditors ledgers accurately
• Maintain Assets Register accurately
• Review the accounting system and recommend improvement(s)
• Budget preparation and variance analysis
• Any other duties as assigned by the management

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum of HND or BSC in Accounting at Upper Credit + ACA (Professional certification  – A must)
• Experience in a similar role: 2 – 4 years
• Strong analytical, effective communication and accounting software skills
• Effective Presentation and Excel skills
• Sound knowledge of accounting principles and practices
