Assistant Cost Controller at IBIC Investment Holdings

ABOUT THE ROLE

• We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Assistant Cost Controller to join our dynamic finance and hospitality team.
• In this role, you will work closely with the Cost Controller to monitor, manage, and optimize operational costs across our Food & Beverage (F&B) and general hotel departments.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

COST & INVENTORY TRACKING:

• Assist in daily, weekly, and monthly physical stock counts, reconciliations, and inventory management.

F&B COST CONTROL:

• Monitor recipe costing, menu pricing updates, and point-of-sale (POS) system integrations.

MONTH-END CLOSING:

• Support the finance team with journal preparations, variance analysis, and cost reports.

EXPENSE AUDITING:

• Review purchase requisitions, invoices, and purchase orders to ensure alignment with company budgets and internal control policies.

COST OPTIMIZATION:

• Identify operational inefficiencies and recommend cost-saving strategies across departments.

What We’re Looking For

EDUCATION:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Hospitality Management.

EXPERIENCE:

• 2–4 years of relevant experience in cost control or auditing, preferably within the hospitality or F&B industry.

TECHNICAL SKILLS:

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with hospitality software (e.g., OMEGA, OPERA, Supy, Adaco, or FMC) is a strong advantage.
• ANALYTICAL SKILLS: Strong numerical aptitude with a sharp eye for detail and discrepancy resolution.
• COMMUNICATION: Ability to collaborate effectively with operations, purchasing, and kitchen/housekeeping teams.
