Art Director at Pal Pensions

Pensions Alliance Limited (PAL Pensions) is a joint venture between First Securities Discount House Limited (FSDH) (now known as FSDH Merchant Bank) and African Alliance Insurance Company. PAL Pensions is a licensed Pension Fund Administrator with over 13 years of professional experience in Pension Funds Administration. As part of initiatives to enhance its capacity in achieving its objectives, PAL seeks to recruit a dynamic, passionate and resourceful professional to fill the position of Art Director.

Job Summary

• The role holder will report to the Head, Brand Management and Communication and will be responsible for providing creative visual support to the organisation.

Job Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain strategic relationships with top tier employers by having a deeply rooted relationship with Liaison Officers, Managers and Union Executives.
• Visually represent internal communication materials. 
• Responsible for creating and sharing corporate communications visuals.
• Design marketing collateral (digital, traditional media, merchandise, etc.)
• Collaborate with external agencies on bigger campaign production.
• Participate in ideation and brainstorming sessions.
• Manage the ‘look and feel’ of all digital properties.
• Support dissemination of PAL Pensions culture internally through visual representation.

Requirements:

• Should possess a minimum educational qualification of a 2:2 Bachelor’s degree or its equivalent in related fields.
• Minimum of three to four (3 to 4) years advertising art direction and corporate communications experience from an advertising, marketing, or reputable institution.
• Strong animation and UI design experience.
• Impeccable design and presentation skills.
• Demonstrated ability to use design applications like Adobe Suite and CorelDraw
• Admirable ideation skills.
• Working knowledge of the digital landscape as well as traditional advertising.
• Excellent relationship management skills.
• Strong Stakeholder management skills.
• Strong oral and verbal communication skills.
