    Area Sales Manager

    Job Summary

    • As an Area Sales Manager, you will be responsible for achieving sales targets, expanding market share, managing distributor relationships, and leading a high-performing sales team.
    • This is a dynamic role requiring strategic thinking, strong negotiation skills, and the ability to deliver measurable results.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
    • Develop and implement effective territory sales strategies.
    • Manage, coach, and motivate the sales team.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors and key accounts.
    • Identify new business opportunities and expand market coverage.
    • Monitor competitor activities and market trends.
    • Ensure timely collections and effective stock management.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
    • 3 – 7 years’ experience in sales (preferably in [industry – e.g., FMCG/Pharma/Consumer Goods]).
    • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
    • Strong leadership and team management skills.
    • Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.
    • Willingness to travel within the assigned territory.
