    Area Sales Manager

    Job Summary

    • We seek a dynamic and results-driven Area Sales Manager (ASM) to oversee and expand our FMCG sales operations in [Region/Area]. 
    • The ASM will be responsible for achieving sales targets, managing a team of sales representatives, developing strong relationships with distributors and retailers, and driving market penetration strategies.

    Responsibilities

    • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve assigned sales targets and market share objectives.
    • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Sales Executives/Representatives, ensuring high performance and motivation.
    • Monitor and analyze sales performance, market trends, and competitor activities to identify opportunities and challenges.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, wholesalers, and key retail partners.
    • Ensure effective coverage and penetration of the market by expanding distribution channels.
    • Drive brand visibility and promotional activities in the assigned area.
    • Conduct regular sales training and coaching sessions for the sales team.
    • Monitor stock levels, ensure proper inventory management, and coordinate with supply chain teams.
    • Ensure compliance with company policies and guidelines while maintaining operational efficiency.
    • Prepare periodic sales reports, forecasts, and business reviews for management.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, business administration, or a related field.
    • Minimum of 5 years sales of Spice in the FMCG Industry.
    • Strong sales and negotiation skills.
    • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
    • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
    • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
